More amazing stuff you’ll know about her:

Do you have any amazing stories about your fans? Any favorite fan stories?

“They are always very supportive of whatever I write. I can write any genre that I want and I know they’ll always be there to support.  And when I announced that my book was getting published, they were all very excited for me. ”

What’s your favorite thing about being a writer?

I can write all of my feelings and thoughts into a book and most people won’t understand that I may be struggling with my own issues. They can always relate to a character, plus it’s super rewarding to know when one of my books has influenced a reader in some way.

Who is your favorite character that you wrote?

Probably Rosen from my book Unraveling Rosen. He is super complex and has a lot of issues that he has to deal with. At the end of the book, you can see how his character has developed since the first chapter and I really enjoyed writing his story.

When did you first realize you wanted to be a writer?

I never really wanted to be a writer. I always thought of writing as a hobby and now that I’ve had a chance to share my writing with the world, I can see how happy it makes me. But I’d never want writing to become my full-time job. I will always see it as a hobby that I’m doing on the side whenever I have time.

Do you have any fun facts about your book?

I always create a plan for my story but I never actually stick to it. The main idea is always the same but all the side-plots change whenever I feel like it. Plus I never plan out my characters, I discover their weird sides as I’m writing the book.

Does writing energize or exhaust you?

Both. Whenever I finish a chapter I always feel super energized, but the whole starting a book process always exhausts me, since I never know what to write and I just want to jump into a story.

What is your favorite quote?

I don’t have a favorite quote as I don’t really feel like they speak to me.

Who do you say has inspired you the most?

A lot of different philosophers. They have opened my mind to newer and greater ideas that I never would’ve found if it weren’t for them.

What advice do you have for aspiring authors out there?

Always write because you like it. The second it feels like a chore or something you have to do you won’t enjoy it. Also, the first draft of your book is always going to be bad, but there’s time to develop your writing and become better with time.

What’s your favorite part of your own book?

When Seth realizes that he wants to change his ways, because of how much Ella has affected him

Do you have a writing routine? If yes, what is it?

Yes, I always eat Ramen noodles when I start writing.

Who is your favorite author and why?

I don’t have a favorite author.

What are you writing now?

I’m focusing on my two new books: Talk of The Town and Freshman 15

What inspires you to write?

My own life experiences, movies, other books, songs. Pretty much everything

It’s a wrap!
