Raneem Hasan is a Palestinian girl who was raised between California and Jordan. She started writing at the age 15 with her first book and since then loves to write. Her dream is to one day become a well-known published author, bring smiles to others faces as they read her work and to inspire people to achieve their goals like what she did.

Do you have any amazing stories about your fans? Any favorite fan stories?
No, not really. But I do receive weird and funny messages from my fans.
What’s your favorite thing about being a writer?
That I could put everything into paper and write stories from my own head.
Who is your favorite character that you wrote?
I have to say Ariel in my recent book that I’m writing which is Loving Mr. Jerkface
When did you first realize you wanted to be a writer?
I always wanted to write ever since I was a kid. So writing wasn’t out of the ordinary.
Do you have any fun facts about your book?
Hmm well, not really. But some events I write about are connected to me and my everyday life.
Does writing energize or exhaust you?
If I’m writing nonstop and thousands of words, then it will exhaust me.
What is your favorite quote?
“Success feels meaningless without failure.”
Who do you say has inspired you the most?
My mom. She has inspired for a long time.
What advice do you have for aspiring authors out there?
Don’t give up. It’s all worth it in the end!
What’s your favorite part of your own book?
I have to say the endings. They’re always my favorite
Do you have a writing routine? If yes, what is it?
No. I usually write whenever I feel like it
Who is your favorite author and why?
I have to say John Green. He writes awesome stories.
What are you writing now?
My third book ‘Loving Mr. Jerkface’
What inspires you to write?
The thought of putting smiles on others faces and showing the world my writing
