Rua Hasan is a major bookworm who loves to write and read. She was born in Palestine and grew up in California. She started writing at the age of fourteen and wrote her first book at the age of fifteen. She does not only love movies too but she can get addictive when watching an awesome series.

Do you have any amazing stories about your fans? Any favorite fan stories?
Not really. My fans aren’t that crazy, they’ll just usually message me telling me that they like my story and that’s it.
What’s your favorite thing about being a writer?
I’m a creator and I get to write my own creations.
Who is your favorite character that you wrote?
Tyler from Tyler’s Gem.
When did you first realize you wanted to be a writer?
At the age of 14.
Do you have any fun facts about your book?
Some of the plot twists you’ll find at the end of my books are sometimes made up by my sister.
Does writing energize or exhaust you?
Both. Writing is very energetic but if I write for hours without resting then it gets exhausting.
What is your favorite quote?
A quote from a book called Tuck Everlasting. “Don’t be afraid of death, be afraid of an unlived life. You don’t have to live forever, you just have to live.”
Who do you say has inspired you the most?
My mother.
What advice do you have for aspiring authors out there?
Keep reading and writing. And don’t give up. It takes time to reach your goals.
What’s your favorite part of your own book?
The ending where I write the plot twists.
Do you have a writing routine? If yes, what is it?
Not really. I’ll usually just wake up on a Friday, drink some coffee and write for hours since I have no school on that day.
Who is your favorite author and why?
John Green. His books are amazing and always make me cry.
What are you writing now?
Your Love Is My Weapon.
What inspires you to write?
When I see my amazing supporters leave nice and useful comments. 🙂
